My morning runs over the past few years have evolved into times to meditate, pray, and savor the beauty around me.  I get a fresh perspective on my day, and thank God for his never ending supply of grace, mercy and forgiveness!  Here are some pictures I photographed a few days ago while on a run in my neighborhood that show God’s glory and majesty and forecast that spring is on its way.. (all pictures were made with my handy Android Smart Phone!)

For a simple and beautiful centerpiece, place a pot of ivy in a basket along with whatever is blooming in your yard such as Forysthia, Lorapetalum, Azalea, Japanese Magnolia, Bradford Pear or Pussy Willow.  A few tulips or other spring flowers add even more color.

The title of this post is from a familiar hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”:

“Great is Thy Faithfulness!  Great is Thy Faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.”

(Thomas Chisolm, based on Lamentations 3:22-23)

Enjoy God’s beauty everyday!
